Yes, I hate this tour. I don't hate the people enjoying it because they're too stupid to know otherwise. It does make me feel better to trash the band and wish them every possible misfortune with this tour. They've MORE than earned it. They've shit on their fans for YEARS and I for one feel no need to do differently. So, thanks, I'll continue to "knock myself out" - it's fun!

Listen, getting into some sort of debate about "Who's the Bigger Van Halen Fan" is stupid and it's not an argument either one of us is likely to win. I have no interest in even trying. You both are friends of mine, and I will say a few things.

First off, Bob...it does take a lot more than that to piss off Brett.

But I will also say that Brett is a great guy (at least to me). I know that some people here have had incidents with him, and some of those people I'm friends with. But I will stay out of those incidents because I still think the Links has had good things to offer and there are some great posters there. I may not post there as much, but I still post there. The Army is my #1 home, but I don't believe in this whole ARMY OR NOTHING philosophy. Fans are fans. Some can hate each other. Some can disagree. But not all Army members need hate all Links members. I hate Sammy Hagar. And I can't stand Ched-Heads. But Brett is NOT responsible for all the shit that happens there. Fact is, Van Halen is touring with Sammy right now (God knows why, but they are). And during such times, a Van Halen forum is going to be inundated with Ched-heads. I do feel, however, that I can sometimes get along with people regardless of their musical tastes. I don't understand them, but I can still get along.

Sheep are different...sheep are blind morons that hate Roth and want to start trouble. Our Pen is full of 'em. Frankly, we put MORONS in our Pen, for the most part. If Eddymon ever posted here (and he's smart enough not to because he'd be dead), I'd throw him in the Pen after his first post.

Anyway, I like Brett. I won't defend everything that's happened at the Links, but he and I have almost always been cool. And I would also say that there are people at the Army that I don't like. Only a few, maybe (cough...Chelle)...but shit happens.

I come here just to shoot the shit, I rarely even post about VH-anything here at all. I'm pretty burned on most VH discussions after all these years anyway on every board, I'm just here to enjoy the sights.

In any event, I have a extremely thick skin, I've kinda had to. When you see Photoshop pics of Sammy fucking you in the ass, you sorta learn to.

What's funny is I don't give two flying fucks about Sammy, apart from his involvement in VH. Don't own any of his solo garbage, never would. Never listened to his solo shit before VH, never did after. I grew up on DLR era stuff, I just refused to turn my back on Ed and his playing after Dave left.

Good for you babe. I'm a self confessed Van Hagar fan but don't come here to talk about him, I can do that at the Links. Neither will I bash him here. I come to celebrate Dave and his work, classic VH and hopefully hear news about what the Diamond one is up to and the possiblilty of new music. But basically what u see is what u get.
