Crazy from the Heat - The book.

So I bought this book about 3 years ago. I'm a busy family man with a career and a side business. Never got around to reading it. Actually I did get a few pages about the "96 incident".
Anyway I just started reading this book and I'm about 50 pages in let me tell you about every 3rd or 4th page I'm laughing out loud. This is a great book. I can't wait to go home and read some more tonight.

Along with "The Dirt", Dave's book is a must read. I love how Dave wrote it himself, without a biographer. It really gives you a feel for the crazy (but definitly cool) shit going on in the Diamond One's blonde-haired dome.

Crazy from the Heat is essential reading. You are not a true Dave fan until you've read it. Very entertaining all round though also very sporadic. One minute he's a kid then he's in Van Halen then he's a kid again. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, absolute great read.

BUT, I leant it to a mate, and his dog chewed the fckn front cover off !!! The book is pretty much destroyed.

Got a fresh copy on the way...

I agree there needs to be a Part 2, I'm sure he has a few more stories to tell - (Becker / Spam tour / MTV awards / BOV1 etc etc).
