Agreed. Particularly when the army reappeared as nothing other than an open message board for a good chunk of 2003, although there were some quality folks on that too (you just had to wade through so much waborita bullshit and some serious head cases to find them), DDLR was pretty much it in terms of a grade-A site to go to that had a decent message exchange.

Agree that there's not enough time to do both, least not for me, and I was with the army back in the dark days of Van Halen 3. Kind of a tradition, and one worth keeping.

Von's site has always been about quality moreso than quantity, folks! It's not pulling the numbers because we don't get the sheep traffic the Army does, and I'm thankful for it! We don't want it, or need it; it's just Rothaholics yapping with other Rothaholics.

This site was my first Roth site and I like it just as much as DDLR. I use the Army mostly to sharpen my sheep-shearing skills and the political forum.

Both sites ROCK! And we (DDLR.com) ain't going anywhere! We'll be here...stop by and pay us a visit sometime.
