check for a Cinemark theater. we've got one closer to Cleveland that has a digital projector. i caught AOTC on a local screen at midnight, on the digital screen at 11 am or so, and back at the first place with my niece and nephew at 4 pm.

digital projectors are still pretty expensive and a lot of chains don't want to spend the money on them.

I went to see Attack of the clones with a guy that had never seen Star Wars before, and his comment after the film was "That doesn't reflect real life"

LMMFAO @ That doesn't reflect real life?
Well, seeing as we don't travel through space the same way we go from state to state, I'd say your friend was right....But does he grasp the concept of Science Fiction?

I have a friend who has also never seen a Star Wars movie, so i had him buy the Trilogy on DVD.
he thought it was awesome, but he has not seen it in it's original release.

I'll give Lucas credit for improving them, although the Han Solo shooting first crap was lame, as was the Jabba the Hut sequence having Han step over his tail.

I could have done a better job with the Animation part of Paint Shop Pro 7.

    The trailer rocks!

How much new shit do you really see, though.

Most of it is comped from the other films.

    Never mind.

You can just picture yourself sitting in the theatre with a huge, stupid grin on your face when the lights go down.

When i first saw that Anakin dude grown up i was asking myself "Does he really fit the part?"
But after seeing some of the scenes in this movie it is apparent that they took the kid look away from him.

It just may work, for Georges sake, it had better, lmmfao.

Mace Windu: The path of the righteous is beset on all... Oh shit, i'm falling, and i can't get up!

I can already see the parody's, like the one that was a cross between Forest Gump and Pulp Fiction.

Jules: I reckon we're going to have to get medievel on your buttocks!

So much laughter, so little time...

James Earl Jones IS Darth Vader in my opinion...anything less would be, well, less? lmmfao.
    Don't believe me?
Check the link below and he is credited with the part.

Man, I got goose pimples from that trailer big time.

It's gonna freakin kick ass for sure.
    James Earl Jones
Actually, according to theforce.net, James was recently asked at some event if he was called in by Lucas yet, and he said no.

Also, if you listen to that clip, it sounds eerily similar to Hayden Christensen saying 'Yes Master' in Episode II to Obi Wan. Methinks it's his voice that has been altered.

EP3: James Earl Jones Talks Episode III
    Sun, Oct 31, 04 11:31:38 AM EST

James Earl Jones has yet to record his voice for 'Revenge of the Sith'. Shawn, who recently caught up with him in a play tells us:
James Earl Jones was in Wilmington, Delaware for a performance of On Golden Pond (October 28th, 2004).
He was great in the lead role of Norman Thayer. I was able to hang back after the performance to meet him. He was very nice, signed my program and took a picture with me and my wife.

I asked him if George called him for any voice work yet for Ep 3. He said not yet.

Well, Jones is credited with the film, and it's in post production. So maybe he is doing it now?

But whats in the Trailer is clearly Jones.

Oh, and does it make sense that if James Earl Jones is signed on, and putting this film on his resume, that Hayden would be doing a Darth Vader voice?

The logic just doesn't support the idea that Hayden is the voice of Vader in that trailer.

Y'all are smokin some good stuff or something.

Not really. The voice really doesn't sound like James Earl Jones voice.

The voice sounds higher than the voice heard in the original trilogy.

Why wouldn't logic support that it's Hayden? Hayden is the one strapped down on the table in that suit.

With digital technology, I'm sure it's quite easy to manipulate his voice to sound like James Earl Jones.

First and foremost, its just a TRAILER.

James Earl Jones has always put in his Vader voice-over in POST-PRODUCTION.

Now that everyone has the original trilogy DVDs, you can see that none of Vader's lines were heard in any of the 'teaser' trailers.

That's because JEJ had yet to supply his voice.

But in Episode III's case, hearing Vader in the teaser was a must from a marketing standpoint.

So, as David Prowse did in the OT, Hayden spoke the Vader lines through the mask when filming. And with some tinkering and techno-savyness, they altered his voice to make it sound like JEJ vader as best they could.

Afterall, it was only one line anyway. Just enough for the effect to get everyone pumped up for ROTS.

Don't worry. VADER will be heard loud and clear next spring!
