With all due respect for Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan!

The first DVD I played on my new player was Steve Vai´s "Live At The Astoria",

and Sheehan singing "Shy Boy" not only sounds wrong,

    it just sounds bad!

        Open Jam rules!

BTW, the DVD is great, just Sheehan singing Shy Boy (my favorite DLR tune) doesn´t do it for me. Real bad. Sheehan´s one of the all time best on bass though!

How I wish my band´s bassist would spend a month in a remote cottage with nothing but a few cds and dvds featuring Billy Sheehan!

The worst mistake a guitar hero can make is to think they can sing.
Take a hint Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson.

Mattias Ia Eklundh (Freak Kitchen) is a guitar hero(albeit, almost unheard of) who can sing.

but yeah the others mentioned are horrible vocalists, esp. Joe Satriani.
