I don't know how old that joke about the crap car was 20 years ago but I think it was already pretty old at that point.

The disappointing thing about the Vegas show for me was that Dave seemed to be trying to copy a poor stand-up rather than doing his own thing which was and is much more original and entertaining.

I think if it had been the other way around and Robin Williams had come on and sang a lame rock cover Dave would not have appreciated it.

Actually the interview was totally different from what I remembered before. Thought it went well. Only two one-liners didn't go over that good. The one about the VH chip and the one about " never hit on 17 ". Everything else was great. Wish I could of seen the show. Different kind of Dave.
