JAKE E. LEE: New Album Details Revealed

More details have been revealed about the upcoming "covers" album currently being recorded by former OZZY OSBOURNE/BADLANDS guitarist Jake E. Lee. The CD, which is being engineered by Michael Lardie (formerly of GREAT WHITE), will feature the following lineup of musicians:

Jake E. Lee (OZZY OSBOURNE, BADLANDS): guitars
    Chris Logan (MSG): Vocals
Tim Bogert (VANILLA FUDGE, BECK, BOGERT & APPICE): Bass
Aynsley Dunbar (WHITESNAKE, MSG, UFO): Drums

All the songs are being recorded in a "power trio" format ala BADLANDS and the tracks for the project are cover songs along that style (bluesy power rock). At this time, the track listing is shaping up as follows:

    01. Way Back to the Bone (TRAPEZE)
    02. I'll be Creepin' (FREE)
    03. Love Is Worth Blues (LESLIE WEST)
    04. Evil (CACTUS)
    05. I'll Come Tumblin' (GRAND FUNK)
    06. Hard Way to Go (SAVOY BROWN)
    07. Woman (JAMES GANG)
    08. Rock Candy (MONTROSE)
    09. Guess I'll Go Away (JOHNNY WINTER)
    10. Whiskey Train (PROCOL HAREM)
    11. I Can't Stand It (ROBIN TROWER)

I rather have originals but it will be cool to here Jake jam again.
Everytime I think I've reached the buttom someone hands me a shovel.

Probably liked "VooDoo Highway" best, followed by their debut album, then the third "Dusk".

But all good shit in my opinion.

Thanks for the news!!! "Voodoo Highway" is one of the all-time under-rated CDs.
    "Float like a butterfly. Sting like a B-52." - DLR=VH=
"Rejoice in the wife of your youth. May her breasts satisfy you always." Proverbs 5:18-19.

Hell Yes, I love Jake's playing.

My band opened for Wicked Alliance back then (it was his post Badlands thing w/Greg Chaisson and Mandy Lyons of WW3) I thought they sucked. The singer was a complete douche. Jake of course played REALLY well. Nice guy too.
It's a shame that families should be torn apart by something as simple as....wild dogs
