Did you ever see a flick from '73 he directed? Starred the great William Holden...called BREEZY, about an old man (in his fifties) that has an affair with a 20-year-old hippie chick. Kinda liked it because it's a nice fantasy...LMFAO.

I was at BEST BUY today and thought of picking it up (KELLY'S HEROES), but remember not loving it before. I still have to eventually pick it up for collection. But it certainly isn't a favorite.

I looked for both FIREFOX and HEARTBREAK RIDGE...neither in stock.

KELLY'S HEROES is an interesting anti-War flick that is sort of a take off of CATCH-22 type of Vietnam era cynicism. I always thought is was cool because it was one of the few war films that had an actual German Tiger tank in it rather than an American tank with an Iron Cross painted on it.

Also a great Eastwood war film:


They have it on TV every once in a while. Worth watching if you're bored.
