Are you a Joy Division fan too?
The only record I really liked by them was 'Technique.'

You're the same kind of bad as me"
New Tom Waits...BAD AS ME. Easily his best since Mule Variations.
I dunno...I liked LOtUSFLOW3R (though, admittedly wasn't keen on MPLSouND and hate 20TEN). What's that "The Band Formerly Known As The Time" album like, anyway? Do you have the Best Buy/DVD edition? Wondering whether it's worth forking out for it.

Condensate is really good. been playin' the shit out of it all week. i do skip a few tracks in the middle, but overall it's a solid listen all the way through. there are a couple things that have that signature Jam/Lewis sound, but they are executive producers of it so that was to be expected. couple good solos by Jesse Johnson too.
i did get the CD/DVD set, the documentary is good too. confirms a lot of what i've read over the years. i bought it the day it came out so the $10 price wasn't much of a risk.
20TEN stinks, period. "the Purple Yoda?" come on. i'm starting to think Planet Earth was the last good Prince CD, with the lat good one before that the Gold Experience.
I no longer use a CD player.

20Ten was the first Prince album where I couldn't find anything positive to say about it.
I preferred 3121 to Planet Earth if I'm honest (and I have no reason not to be).
Prince's problem is that he knocks albums out so regularly that they tend to be a bit inconsistent. If he released one album every two years rather than one a year, then they would have more "great" albums and less that are simply just "good".
