I have done a lot of thinking about the times i had at VH shows Pre Spam Sandwiches, and what better time to share my thoughts on that than today, Ed's B-Day.....
Ed, I love ya man. Ya saved my ass from getting thrown out of the 1984 show here at the Gardens on night number 2.
It was cool, i had a blast, and you were clearly as stoned as i was, lol.
Ya sat right in front of me when you started your solo....and i was in awe, you ripped the hell out of every note, in a word, perfect.
Time of my Life, best concert ever because it was my only ever front row ticket, and i paid $50.00 for it (tickets averaged $17.50 to $22.50 back then, and that was high).

You've done it all, had it all, and abused it all in pure Hard Rock Form, and i salute you as well as thank you for all the great times. and am very thankful you are alive today, as it was said above, you are still one of the best musicians on earth. And you have a most impressive body of work on your resume.
Now do us and yourself a favor and think real hard about what the fans want, then decide if NOT doing it is really whats in your heart.
Just one time, bro, 11 tracks and maybe a short 5 Point Tour here in America....That's it, 5 shows at every corner of the country, and then a huge "Closure" show right smack dab in the middle, curtain closes, y'all shake hands, differences mended, everyone is happy.
