I'm happy so far.
I had 1 and 2...
but you still did better than I did Cat...
fucking took a gamble on Mears and Mayfield...two guys I like but suck ass...and paid the price...I let the 9 starts stear me...oh well...
I'll pass a few this week...
My march to the top continues...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."
Glad Johnson came back like to finish 2nd...
Fuckin' Gordon blew a cylinder, just like Nemechek....

Pretty much a boring race though...that's why I don't like a lot of these new fucking tracks...
and now these new packages....
to much fucking tinkering...
Roush just continues to bitchslap the bowties.
California, Texas, Chicago....the hybrid tracks make for some boring races and continue to baffle certain teams.
California is half a mile longer than Atlanta, and 10 mph slower.
Bring on the short tracks.
Man, I bet somebody gets fired in the Hendrick engine factory.
My philosophy is to use them up while you can. the 9 race limit sucks for sure, but my approach is consistancy with this Yahoo deal.Originally posted by POJO_Risin

I'd love a top 5 by any one or two drivers, but top 10's consistently can keep you in the running.
The rookies scare me, so i don't mess with them. I saw a lot of rookie mistakes going on today and it was luck, plus the width of the track and how spread out the cars were that saved it from being a nasty wreck fest.
They put those yellow stripes on the rear bumpers for a reason, lol.
I honestly think i'm taking a risk with Rusty Wallace, but he has performed well for my team in both races so far.
it will get more competitive if everyone stays active in this, because everyone will have a better guage when time comes to pick the next set of drivers.
Besides, the moment you dump one driver for another, the one you dumped will start doing better, lol, that's life, ain't it?
But hey, if you want that guy around all season you gotta rest him for a few weeks, right?
Screw that, run them for what their worth and dump them when their done, lol.
My role is to change every week...unless there's a hot driver...
Holy Hell...Kahne is ridiculous as an A-List driver...but Jamie McMurray? are you fucking kidding me...and...lmfao...is that his fucking name?
LMFAO, you just love to analyze those fucking lists, don't you ???
No dude, but they kind of stand out, don't they?
MacMurray's done what, won one race, and in Sterling Marlin's car to boot 2 years ago?
and Kahne, none.
Yahoo blows, once again.
I just don't want to fucking end up with those 2 douchebags by the end of the year.
I don't really pay much mind to the A list, really...
Gordon
Johnson
Earnhardt
and everyone else....
They'll only get you 27 races...aren't there 30 some?
same here, i just dumped aOriginally posted by Va Beach VH Fan

BTW looks like YR is holding her own..you go yankee!!
Alright, been studying these guys and found that i had two dead weights that needed to be parked.
Thankfully, I have started neither in either race, but the new guys are going in this weekend.
I will predict that i end this weekend in first place, lol.
Move over Beer Farter's, i'm knockin in yer doors with some size 15 Goodyear's, lol.

I'm tryin..thanx darlin'...but to be honest..I have no idea how this works. At all. None. I just pick my faves and/or best guess for the race. However, I refuse to pick anyone on my "Punky" list. Punky McMurray, Punky Stewart, and Punky Harvick. It's early in the season though..more may join the club.
I don't know about you all...but I'm going to roll with a bunch of risky drivers this week...what the fuck do I care...lmfao...
rollin' with McMurray for some reason...as my A driver...even though I think he's a hack...and should be driving for the local garbage company...
Nemecheck can't finish...so I picked him...
I'm depending on my B drivers to pull it through for me...
we shall see...
I bet that car is a lot cooler to drive without doors on 'er, lmmfao.Originally posted by Va Beach VH Fan

I told y'all i was here to "Git-R-Done!"
But seriously, I was just plain lucky because i screwed up this week and intended to run Ryan Newman, but somehow i ended up running Jimmy Johnson and was pissed the whole race.
So pissed in fact that i took a nap with less than 100 laps and didn't even catch the end of the race.
Martin and Wallace are getting parked for a few weeks.
I don't know what I'm going to do this week...
My strategy is to stay close to the top...and spread the wealth...
trying to hold on to necesary drivers to the end...but it's tough to do...in particular with those freakin' B-level drivers...who have the name power...
but drive like ass...
this new tire package...is killing people...like the Stewarts, LaBonte's and Earnhardts...
DEI is getting killed...
should make things interesting...
Patience, patience is the word....
My team just sucked balls last week....
Looked pretty good for a while....
Then Riggs went behind the wall...
Then Martin went behind the wall....
All my guys sucked as well...Martin behind the wall...and the rest just middling pricks...
fuck Patience...lmfao...I want a 500 point lead...
Christ...I'm happy just not to be in last place...
Well...I stay in second basically because everyone is apparently as shitty as I am at this...
Just sticking to strategy...
stay as close to the top as I can...that's part one anyways...
great race though...glad Edwards pulled it out...
thought i was gonna make a move yeaterday..had Biffle and Edwards..but Gordon and Nemechek screwed me...i hate nascar
I thought you were too...
All of my picks were between 10 and 20...nothing great...but I stayed in second...
like I said...because everyone else picks as shitty as I do...
Im kinda digging nascar not being so dominant with one driver, gordons runs seems to be over so its anyones win latley..thats why i switched gears on my drivers as of yesterday. good point bro-Originally posted by POJO_Risin

Speak for yourself, I'm using a strategy and it is working, lmmfao.
Here's a few tips for y'all to consider, and i'm stupid for posting this shit.
Take a look at the races last year and pick your drivers based on those results at the same tracks.
Jimmy Johnson is a safe bet for the speedways, he's a tad weak on short tracks.
DEI is repeating last years results, but it is a great idea to always consider them an option.
DEI TIP: Restrictor Plate Tracks are typically their strong races because Junior has always had 50-50 luck on the Speedways and Short Tracks, they are just a gamble for a majority of the season.
Waltrip hasn't been strong since Dale Sr. died. that is, after his first season with DEI, Sr. isn't mapping his performance anymore.
Ryan Neuman is struggling and i haven't used him at all yet, but i expect his team to get better in the next few weeks, i'm holding off on him for now.
Jeff Gordon, (Sorry Rose) But he isn't focused anymore. He has his mind cluttered with his ownership of his Bush Team. his winning spirit is only running half throttle, as you are finding out the hard way, again, Sorry Rose. On the bright side, there is only so much losing he will tolerate before he gets his shit together.
Ok, there's a small look into my perspective, take what you want, use it or not, get an attitude about my post, or not.......see y'all on the track.
Git-R-Done!
Jimmy Johnson has won what...5 of 10?...6 of 10?...
they ran a stat assuming he had won the race on Sunday...
lmfao...ooops...
There's one piece to consider that you didn't mention Cat...
and that's using up drivers...
there are two streams of thought...
use the hot driver no matter what...or try and base your picks from week to week...holding back some for later in the half...or later in the season...
My strategy is simple...stay close to the stop...make sure I have power drivers to use every week...
I know less about the NAMES in NASCAR...and to be honest...that's helped me this year.
I don't have any allegience to anyone...
I have drivers I like...
I have drivers I hate...
I generally won't use drivers I hate...which will ultimately kill me...
I can tell you this...if I would have picked who I wanted to this week...I would have had the 1 and 2 drivers in my lineup...and I think another top five...
I chose not to use them for several reasons. Am I pissed? Sure...but...in the long run...I still have them to use later in the season one more time...I'm still in second...
and I'm starting to get the hang of all this shit..
I also think there is an interesting stat...which I'll keep to myself...that a lot of people aren't taking into account. It certainly helped me this week...and hopefully next...
Question..i work weekends as pojo knows, you or cathedral can tell me this, what channel is it usually on?
we have satillite at wk now.
sundays usually too right? lol
Well, I did hold back some of my strategy, you were right to say i didn't "mention" some things.Originally posted by POJO_Risin

but from your post i can say that you and I are close to riding the same wavelength here.
I'm not sticking with my best guys, or favorites for that matter. I am mixing it up a little so i don't hit a brick wall down the road.
For the first half of the season it's on Fox and it's affiliate stations.Originally posted by redblkwht

The second half it will be on NBC and whatever channels are affiliated with that one.
They alternate every year so they each get the Daytone every two years.
Generally speaking...FOX carries all the NASCAR events on their main station...NBC's NASCAR coverage probably 65% of the time is on MSNBC...or CNBC...or one of those faggot stations...because of their deals with other shit...
Hate to tell you bro, but that's wrong...Originally posted by POJO_Risin

When NBC gets the races, they're all on NBC...
Now there ARE times when races are on FX as opposed to FOX....
No...trust me...it's not wrong you bumbling Meadvillian...
I spent a good bit of time last year without a dish because Direct TV folk must have come from your neck of the woods...
and...ahem...there were months at a time when I couldn't get the NASCAR race on NBC...
but of course...you said it was true...so it must be...aside from that fact that you're wrong...
And don't start rattling on about Busch crap either...
This year...not counting the all star races at Charlotte...and the warm up races at Daytona...
there are the big 2 races on FX that are Nextel Cup races...
NBC shares the races with TNT...as they did last year...losing 6 or 7 races to them....
Wait a sec...
YOU said that "NBC's NASCAR coverage probably 65% of the time is on MSNBC...or CNBC...or one of those faggot stations..."
That is what I'm saying is wrong.... There are no races of any type on those channels....
Yeah...okay...so it was TNT...I'm a lying bastard...
