Arrow Favorite song off of Skyscraper?

I love this record and my favorite track would be

    SKYSCRAPER.......

I skydived over Monterey Bay and just before I made the jump I handed the lady this song and told her to make sure it gets on my personal video!

It's a toss up between, "JUST LIKE PARADISE", and "STAND UP".

    "Hina" and "Damn Good"...

Would love to hear the original less-mixed demos Billy Sheehan or Steve Vai mentioned in some interview...

I listened to "Skyscraper" at least once and I still can't seem to understand it very well. "Hot Dog and a shake" is my favorite somg on that album. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a pretty good album. But it's not as good as YFLM.

Damn Good and Hina, again, depends on my mood.

YFLM is a better album than this, you're right.

    "Just like paradise"

Sure it`s pop music, but it sounds good.

For me, it'd have to be Knucklebones. It was the very first DLR song I heard, from when a friend lent me the cassette of the album. That hooked me totally, along with the title track and Damn Good.

I have no clue as to why so many people knock this album. It has some really great stuff!

I don't know why but I really like "Hina". It is a cool song even though I've no idea what a Hina is.

but it's my fave song on the album. (two fools a minute has some of steve's best playing though)

    Damn Good.

And I would love to hear the long rumored "original mix" of the album. Billy Sheehan should put it up over at STG

Damn Good and Hina are my favourites.

I too would be interested in hearing the more 'bare-bones' mixes Sheehan has mentioned in interviews. In his Sludge 20 Q's he said he might put them up on his own site.

I guess this thread is a good representation of something the army has over DDLR. If this thread was started at DDLR it would have been 3 post of songs, and 40 posts of how shitty Skyscraper was.
