But Elvis, for that Price, you could get a mid-range Tokai LP copy. Superb guitars.

Tokai are no better than these...

I prefer the sharper lines of the Destroyer II over that rounded
          Rondo....

But I would play that Rondo, still a cool looking axe.

Yeah but you gotta see their LPs.

Also, SRV played a Tokai strat early on.

Oh yeah, you have to get the Japanese Tokais. The Korean made Tokais are cheaper and still nice guitars, but the Japanese ones are really top notch, they look closer to Gibsons, and surpasses Gibson Standards. *They also have more expensive Japanese models that far surpass all those custom shop ones*

I have an Epiphone LP and SG Custom. The weak point in Epiphones is cheap electronics meaning pickups, switches, and pots. Both the guitars I have are very playable, have great natural tone, and the binding, inlay, and fret work on the SG is really good. No problems with tuners (Grovers on the LP and Kluson copies on SG). I actually can live with the pickups on the SG so those are stock. Replaced the LP with Seymour Duncans and replaced the switch, pots, and jack with higher quality components. It sounds great and if it gets scratched or dinged, who cares. I love it.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!
