Tonight's episode left quite a sting wouldn't you say? Jeeze, watching Najai play with his little daughter and all the while knowing that he eventually would commit suicide. It's both heartbreaking and crazy.
It was a good fight though, that Sergio is one tough cookie.

Sad shit. But they definitely played up the fact that he is fucked up. I guess they didn't want people somehow blaming the competition. And they're right. Nobody just kills himself because he loses a competition...no matter how big it is. There has to be something else going wrong in the brain.

I duuno cos I kind of like that. When I took Kempo many years back, I learned that getting into the opponents head was half of the battle. I've never boxed outside of for fun with buddies. I like SERGIO. I think his whole mindset (the Mom shit, his reading habits)...I don't know. I'm a sucker for those kinds of people...good heart, smart. And frankly, I think getting into the opponent's head is half the challenge.

The episode was average, but the fight was great!! Good to see a fighter with MANFREDO's skill get a second chance, but I can understand why his original opponent was fucking pissed.
Hedren is like over 70 now, and she looks fucking good. I mean it. And I'm no Old Folks' Home Snatcher. She looks damn good...better now than her daughter looks now.
A good fighter would have hammered that kid tonight...
