Warner Bros. Japan either like Sammy more

    Visit this link

Look under the import section and find

    "Van Halen Box 1986-1993"

So Warner Japan keeps the Sammy box, but not Roth's?

Did Eddie have something to do with this?

If Japan owns Warner Bros., I say they're makin' a big mistake... either that or they are desperate to push Sammy era albums.

Dude, you have to read the fine print. The set is offered as part of the Warner Brothers Family Planning & Population Control Initiative. Nothing makes you want to stop fucking and start planning ritual suicide more than five disks of Van Hagar!

They may as well now add the Balance disc in make it a 6 pack as well.

You can choose either the strongest alcohol or the watered down kind.

They must be crazy.......I couldn't handle one Van Hagar disk let alone 5 or 6 without going completely insane.

The Japanese people use it as a colorful wrap for their sushi.

After 5 days in the hot sun they both smell the same!

                          VH in everyday life

I was in Japan 2 spring agos. You see in Japan, there is no Sam or Dave dividings. Most Japanese people know the name Van Halen. To them Van Halen is that synonomous with Eddie's guitaring master works. VH = Great musical composition.

Yes. Sammy era VH is popularity in Japan. It is part of their pop culture their mainstream. You hear Sam era VH in eveyday life and it's not only on CD's but Sam Era VH in all forms like in video games, music boxes etc.

5150 and OU812 are the most popularity in Japan. It is not uncommon to see a teenager kids wearing an OU812 tour t-shirt they boughted from a vintage store. To the kids who wanting to experiment with western culture they favoring the Sam era VH because to them Sam is the voice of things American like burgers, Levi's, baseball, and all the things of Americana.

I guess all this says is SAMMY IS VOA!

Oh, You Ate One Too?!? \m\\m/!!! Baaaaayyyy-beeeee!!!

Sammy is misleading an entire country then.

DLR represents all things American in a more realistic, honest way. Not to mention cool.

Sam's Americana is just telling 14 year olds what they wanna hear, and using the word "jive" alot. There is much more to the USA than that my friend.

But there are worse exported goods than Van Hagar for sure.
