Seattle just put the disgruntled back on the block...
could really make things interesting...as the season pans out...
Who would you rather take?
Shaun Alexander
Edgerrin James

"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."
Alexander. Sure, James is more versatile, but his injury history would scare me away.
And Alexander is a fucking touchdown machine...
but I think is an equal fucking headcase...
that said...I still take Alexander...
No doubt. I just want Alexander OUT of my fucking division.........."Edge" isnt exactly a model citizen himself either.
Oh...no...
but I think the two ultimately equal each other in the head case category...
I think Miami would be smart to steer clear of both...
Edge over Alexander in my opinion.
Not a team guy, "back stabbed" and now a huge contract headache.
Edge catches the ball much better and is now fully back from the knee, it takes most all backs 2 seasons to come all the way back.
And if the topic is "trading for: ...
Indy has said that they will be more than reasonable dealing him, Alexander would take more to get.
I think ultimately...they'll both be draft day moves...and be less than we thought...but pretty big...
They could really fucking throw a wrench into some teams expecting to pick high...
I could see one of these going for the #1 pick...or a high pick...more than that...but part of it...
Sounding like Indy starting to seriously hurt from the Manning contract, and maybe Edge is making some fuss.
He has always wanted to return to Florida.
Both Miami and Tampa have top 5 picks with backs on their radar.
I could see Miami dealing their pick for Edge...I don't know that they'd want to give up any more than that though...unless cash was involved...
I don't think Indy is even asking for a #1 for him either.
I think they should stay and take one of the studs out of college really, they pick high enough to take someone solid.
Benson, Ronnie Brown, Williams (Gruden really likes Cadillac, though may be a smoke screen because he really likes Mike Williams too).
They are having a touch of the infighting over Feeley or Frerotte at QB now also.
James would be my choice.

There was talk about Tampa wanting him in the papers here.
I wouldn't want the guy.
They'd want tooi much and end up with too little.
Shudda kept Dunn!
Will never happen but it'd be nice if the Eagles gave the Colts the #2 pick they got from Miami in last year's A.J. Feeley trade for James.
I actually agree with you Lou...I like Westbrook a bunch...but Philly would be untouchable offensively if they got Plax...or another solid #2 receiver cheap...and could deal a pick to get James...and use the two backs...
They seem to have a woody for Buckhalter though...even though he's missed more than 2/3 of his games injured...
They were either talking about or signed Buckhalter to another deal, maybe strictly as a cap move, but it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.
I'm pretty sure Westbrook is a restricted FA, so the Eagles would match any offer, but a Westbrook for James deal might be feasible.
I think they signed him...James would be ideal for Philly...but Westbrook already is perfect...and unassuming...
Philly would really need to watch that locker room if they added James...and potentially Burress...
I was just going over Westbrook, indoors on that carpet in Indy with Manning back there too.
Might be more explosive than with Edge.
and more injury prone...
