Only three of the four originals in a CVH re-union? Come on this is a no brainer! Firstly you must have all four for a re-union, but if one had to be sacrificed to get Dave back in, it would definitely be Alex who I'd exclude. Dave, Eddie, Mikey, in that order, are a must. Any monkey could be the drummer, and in fact I think thats what they have had!
All l'll say is that if it wasn't for Eddie Van Halen, Michael Anthony would be managing a fucking car wash!

I think Michael is a great bass player in his own right but if Van Halen ever tours again I expect Billy Sheehan in his place.
