Looking back on it, it's funny to think that I was playing the big dance tunes of the day (Montell Jordan, Blackstreet, Tupac - stuff of that nature) in your typcial college dance club - and that when VH comes on - everyone still rocked out. It's a great testament to the longevity of CVH.
Hard to believe that was 9 years ago. Even harder to believe that VH has since went to crap shortly after the botched reunion.

Ed's not in such hot shape anymore, and it's amost to the point where I'm not gonna believe it until they get the first few concerts under their belts and I get to check out some vid/audio files for myself. Cuz' if it's just Dave out front giving his all and the other three going through the motions, that ain't the way I want my CVH. Gotta have some new music to go along with it, too. And not just new, but shit-hot new.

Yes, without a doubt. But I'm am sort of an audiophile. I'm not even sure how much they actually "remastered" from the source tapes, but the mix uses HDCD or high-resolution CD recording technology that wasn't around 25 years ago when this was orginally converted to CD. I have a thread in the DLR/VH music forum. They really could have done more with the six-pack overall since most of the older albums were around 30-35 minutes. They should have added alternate takes of songs or put live versions of songs on on the albums, such as the "videos" for "Unchained" & "Here About It Later" from what I presume is the 1981 Oakland show.
