Now that one is really silly, considering the next line in the song is:

I wish I could, but it's too late

    Now here's a great example .....

    The real lyrics were:
    I heard the news baby
    All about your disease

    But I misheard them as:
    I'm on the loose baby
Like a warm stack o' cheese

    The embarrassing moment of revelation:
I was at a Van Halen concert in 1995 when Sammy
and the band started playing that song. My
friend and I started to sing along, and I sang
the wrong lyrics. My friend burst out laughing
and everyone around us started to laugh hysterically.
Since it was Hagar, he probably DID really sing "like a warm stack of cheese"!!

    Here's another...
    The real lyrics were:
    Might as well JUMP

    But I misheard them as:
    Maxwell jump

    The embarrassing moment of revelation:
Actually, my STUPID ex-wife heard it that way and wanted to know if it was the same Maxwell as in the Beatle's song Maxwell's Silver Hammer. I told her the problem was that Van Halen was meant to be played at MAX VOLUME!
This guy HAS to be a Sammy Sheep!:
    The real lyrics were:
    Panama

    But I misheard them as:
    Cannonball

    The embarrassing moment of revelation:
Twas my husband again. My sister and I were wondering why that particular song had not been blasted at Noriega in our occupation of Panama and my hubby wondered why they would choose that song. I mentioned that the country's name was in the lyrics. He asked "Where?", so I asked him how he thought it went.

The above examples were taken from www.kissthisguy.com

    "You`re bending-I`m mending, I`m getting back together"
    From "Troubleshooter" by Judas Priest

No wait a minute, those are the real lyrics.

I just wish I had misheard them.

I remember when Panama came out there was a girl in school that went around singing enema. Needless to say she wasn't very bright. Great lay though.
If I want any shit out of you, I'll squeeze your head.
