Anyone catch Sin City yet?

Saw it on opening day...I've read the comics and thought they were TOO loyal to the source material. Visually, it's fuckin' cool - I was afraid it would come across like some kid who just got his first camera and was like "Wow, check out what i can do with THIS editing feature", but it looked great. However, some of the dialogue that worked so well on the comics page came out sounding stilted and awkward on the screen.

However, my friend had not read the comics and liked it a lot. Your thoughts?

I thought it was great! I read a fair amount of Frank Miller's other stuff, but unfortunately not this one. Visually it was very cool. Mickey Rourke did a great job. I recommend it for anyone into intensely violent drama.
