Hey, I'm no audiophile so I wouldn't know. All I remember are those gold CDs. I remember getting an info booklet on them and the process of manufacturing them. It sounded neat transferring the speed from the masters from 66 rpm to 33 rpm to verify all the sound signals were transferred over.

It killed me to know The Doors' "soft parade" was in the middle of production right as these CDs were discontinued.

So what other audiophile technology is available besides this FLAC?
