I am surprised that he never did a workout video...something along the lines of Body By Roth. A program incorporating martial arts and aerobics. He could have made millions with this in the late 80's early 90's. Hell everybody from Paula Abdul to Marky Mark was putting out workout videos!

Dave's showmanship was a big part of VH though the moves jump kicks splits swords everything he did made VH what it was.
Rock N Roll to me is about the show as much as it is about just standing up there singing.
I want to be entertained I want to feel pumped up after the show and energized when it's over and you just don't get that from a fat old man standing around singing.
