    You met him?

    Who was the support?

It was a different band from the UK gigs...

It was indeed a fucking brilliant gig.....such a good vibe about the place....and judging by the other setlists from the tour I've seen...he left NOTHING out. My favourites?...probably Dance The Night Away, Unchained, Somebody Get Me A Doctor and And The Cradle will Rock. 12 hours of drinking and crushed ribs from being in the front row centre for the entire show. Well worth the trip. Diamond, you did us proud. Rock'n'Roll.

Daves looks GREAT! I was at that gig and he tore the place apart! I thought it was even better than the arena show he played in Dublin back in '91.

And I would LOVE to get a hold of that footage and will trade you Paulus if you are interested

Thumbs down dublin gig disappointment sound

hi, can somebody please tell me why the sound system couldn't cope with the legend dave, i could not believe how bad it was at some stages i could hear him and the rest of the concert was just a very loud noise drums and guitars feed back the dave would sing into the mike and it would be totally distorted, i have seen dave in the states and it was one of the best concerts i have been to. was the sound enginneer fired over the dublin concert because there was a major problem and it wasn't the legends dave's fault. the warm up act the flaming cocks from northern ireland were superb and the best thing on the night there sound was perfect. please can somebody help with my enquiry. i will go see dave again as he is a legend but will not be visiting viacr st. dublin again.

    regards
    the dude

why was the sound bad?..... at the front left side of the stage it was sweet as a nut.. at the back it was a mush..... why?... cuz the guys on the front desk were wankin about... i was there for the sound check of the suport band.... and ive never seen a more happhazzard and amatuer sound check in my life... 2 songs and the guys out front said ' yep thats fine' despite very poor mid levels... i am no expert (seriously i know very little) but ive been at a lot of soundchecks. and it takes more than sitting on yer ass and listnin to a couple of songs in one place... put simply i dont think the soundmen gave a shit......

and thats the only answer i have... its a night of rants fer me ..
