I know that's where I'm headed, because I've already started my Master's Degree. I'm 21. I'll *should* have my degree before I turn 23.

It's not as much fulfilling my dreams to me as finding myself and being able to use it to earn the most money I can with my talent and thus be able to provide the best for my children. I heard how my grandparents suffered to provide for their five children. I watched how my parents had harder times securing jobs, despite their talents, because they were lacking a paper from a university. The one thing they taught me was to go for that paper with all I had and not to give up, because later in life, when I do have a family to help take care of, I won't have to worry about what job I can take to put food on the table.

Everyone who knows me in the real world knows what kind of friend and person I am. I have all my personal accomplishments, charity, personal relationships, and other's memories of me to show for myself. I don't need to flash them around.

Oh dear alias, I love children more than anything and i can assure you I'll have my own. As many as the good Lord will give and let me provide for. Getting married straight out of high school with no means to support you or your children is plain old stupid and is done without consideration of those children. I don't want to have money to just meet my needs. I want to make sure that my children never have to give up piano lessons or the sport of their choice because Mommy and Daddy don't have enough money for them to do it. I want to ensure that if the public schools in the area I settle in aren't up to par that I can find a private school that is to ensure they'll get a good education. I want to ensure that all my children will be able to attend college and that they won't have to take out $60grand in student loans and live in debt until they're 50 in order to do so. My mother never got to go to college because she was the youngest of five. I don't want to have to pick between which child is worthy enough for a future and which one isn't. Maybe you were comfortable with doing that, but I never want to do that.

In today's world you need a degree of some sort in order for an employeer to look at you or to make more than minimum wage. Maybe back in your day, great-grandma, you were able to eek outa living without any education but no-a-days you can't.

And once again, you are no one to preach on how to live a life.

Look, I have a strong faith in the Lord and all, but God helps those who help themselves. You can pray all day and night for Him to put a steak on your plate, but afterwards you're going to be mighty hungry. I'm going my path. Just because I'm not getting married and knocked-up right after high school graduation doesn't mean I'm less of a person than you are.

God gave me some talents and I plan on thanking Him by using them. I would see it as spitting in His face if I didn't.

Temptation
God tells us that man is born imperfect and that he must use the opportunities and events in his earthly life to perfect himself as far as possible. He must use them according to the directions of his intelligence and according to the wisdom of God's law.

It is not however, easy to act always with this holy moderation. Man's feelings, moods, sentiments, appetites, and desires are not always willing to obey his intelligence. He sometimes feels too strong a love for some things and too weak a love for other things. This continual tendency to go to extremes is called temptation. Temptation is not sin. It tends to draw a man to do what he knows is wrong, and seeks to hold him back from what he knows is right.

Temptation simply brings out what is in a man. One knows himself better when he has dealt with temptation. It proves his faults and tests his virtues. Just how much he really desires to earn Heaven, is seen by what he does to reach it. How much he really loves God, is seen by how much he is willing to do for God. The first safeguard against temptation is to recognize it, to see it as it really is without its attractive camouflage.

CHRIST:
MY CHILD, some men depend too much on human help or earthly remedies. They forget that every earthly thing is in my hands, and that without me nothing is of any help. Worldly men trust mainly in their own talents and possessions, or in the power and help of their friends.
2. Money, health, reputation, friends, admiration, superiority over others, these things seem like treasures to worldly men. Yet, these things are not really as valuable as they seem.
3. I am the treasure which brings peace and everlasting joy. When you have Me, you have the one treasure which cannot be taken from you. Hold on to Me by faith and loyalty. Do not depend too much on human beings or earthly helps. Your greatest hope should always be in Me.
4. My love for you will help you and save you where human friends fail and earthly thing are of no assistance.

THINK:
The man who lives only for what this life can offer him, is due to face great disappointment and bitter self-reproach. The things he depends on are short-lived. When his earthly life is over, he will see what a fool he is. Jesus alone can give the unbounded love and joy which the human heart craves, but the worldly man will find that he has lost Jesus.
PRAY:
My Jesus, in You I place all my hopes and desires. To You I offer all my sorrows, trials, and disappointments. Let me never treasure what can take me away from You, nor desire anything which can keep me from doing Your holy Will. No friend nor any created thing can take Your place in my life. Stay with Me and teach me how to live my life in union with You. Enlighten me, strengthen me, and correct me so I may seek You first and love You above all else. Amen.

Katydid.....what gives you the right to judge another? Are you suggesting humans share this right with God?

Christians who rage HELL-FIRE in the faces of the nonbelivers turn them away much more frequently than a Christian who openly empathizes with human feelings. As a teacher of children..the first rule of thumb is that if children do not feel comfortable, how can we expect them to learn? SAME APPLIES HERE! If children feared my teaching, they would learn nothing in my class but to hate.

I personally believe "SATAN'S BEST WORK" is to use the Christian's own good against them....making the followers of Jesus look like a bunch of judgmental hypocrits and walking contradictions. THAT only helps his situation.

Nothing will turn a non-believer away quicker from Jesus then another human equal who throws all their problems in their face (denies their own) and says "Do like this or burn!". I have seen it first hand, and in fact, have found it virtually impossible to even talk about the love of God to those who have experienced this kind of judmental tone from another Christian.

In my opinion, which, NOTE **IS COMING FROM AN IMPERFECT HUMAN (something you can't seem to acknowledge, in yourself Katy)***, your approach, although honorable if authentic to Christianity, is actually turning more people away from Him then bringing them closer to knowing Christ.

If your goal is to try and turn people to the ways of Christ, you need to seek new methodolgies for doing so...because what you present to the world in judgmental accusations, is a God that seems cold and cruel. If you teach to fear...you teach to hate.

The bible is a never-ending story of forgiveness and love. The scripture revolves around those two elements 99% to l% talk of the hot flames of Hell.
