That tune would've been a worthy addition to any CVH album.
I heard that it was supposed to be on Diver Down, then cut off again.
Then it was reconsidered for 1984, however, they decided to re-work House of Pain instead.

Bullethead - frenetic, chaotic, dangerous, aggressive late 70s metal. Brilliant! Also love Angel Eyes and the 'different' version of In a Simple Rhyme off Magic Mountain. Both recorded in 1974 I think?
Really, there is so much unreleased material from those days that is better than anything they ever released as Van Hagar. They were so creative and hungry then. Imagine it all remastered and released with some really cool packaging. It would definately appeal to a new generation of younger fans too that love all the imagery and music of that Old School metal/hard rock.

It´s a shame, that killer tune didn`t make it on any official release.
Put Out the Lights does it for me.
And I do like the orginal House of Pain. There's just more power in the 1984 production.
All of Zero is excellent. The only thing I hear missing on those songs is Ted Templeman.
