I got it on an 18-track live compilation (a cheap one, with no place and time information, but hell, how Jerry Lee rocks the house!).
He played "Chantilly Lace" before Roy Orbison's "Down the line" and after "Roll over Beethoven".
6 years ago, after a gig with my bandmates, I didn't want to stop and decided to carry on partying with friends at a local disco. We had some more drinks, and some more, and checked out the karaoke section.
They had "Great Balls of Fire", which I went to sing, like a dare...
I still had a harp in my pocket, which fitted the song (it was in "C"). I sang, and when the solo part came, I took my harmonica and did the solo. Well, it had a fine surprise effect... I loved to do that.
It'll Be Me...Gread Gawd Almighty...how could I forget that numbah??...an' yez, Brownsound, Ize agree, Zep did an awesome sendup of that tune...I have one with Mick Ralphs guesting on guitar...I think that Page and Plant played the tune at Jason Bonham's wedding reception, too...
Jerry just went through his SIXTH divorce. I think he married this one back in the 80's. Little Myra hasn't been his High School Confidential in quite sometime.Originally posted by Panamark

That Dennis Quaid movie on his life, was the last...
Six Wives ??? No wonder that film finished with the lines
"Somewhere in America Jerry Lee Lewis is playing tonight"
Thats a lot of wives to pay.
Sounds like he might be one of AVH's heroes ???
