Update: The Arizona Republic reports that Richardson was traded to the New York Knicks for forward Kurt Thomas and a conditional first-round draft pick Thursday morning.
Recommendation: This news comes as a bit of a surprise, as Phoenix is coming off of a successful season and formerly had considered Richardson part of the young team's core.

not sure what to make of it...but if they got Thomas (a defensive presence for sure) and a first rounder in the deal...
then they made out in it if you ask me...it does leave them a bit of a whole at the 3 spot or the 2 spot...
They'll need to acquire an outside presence...
