Michael Brown has resigned as the head of FEMA. I just recieved the following brief statement from John Kerry’s press office. Kerry is in Louisiana today delivering supplies to Hurricane Katrina victims. I think this statement just about says it all… no need to say more!

Dean Statement on Brown Resignation

Washington, DC - Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued the
following statement on the resignation of Michael Brown, the former director of
FEMA:

"Mike Brown's decision to resign from FEMA is the best decision he's made in
three weeks. We can only hope that this is the first of many changes that the
Bush administration will make, because clearly their irresponsible business-as-
usual mindset has had disastrous consequences for the people of the Gulf Coast
in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina."

If Kerry would have cut all of his comments in half during the campaign he just might have won the election.

He always starts off good, but lacks the primal skill of knowing when to shut the fuck up.

Al Gore suffers from this same condition, because i tell ya, in the 2000 Primaries he had me going for a bit but he just wouldn't shut up when he had said enough.

Politicians love to talk, I say give them all the rope they want to hang themselves with. maybe we'll get a good candidate on a ballot before the "Shroom's" arrive.
