Really cool, but would love to hear an exclusively Dave mix. Instead, it plays like the "Best of Both Worlds" compilation. But the intermingling of the different classic VH music sounded great!

How on earth can you mix Dave era and that other SHIT together?

Answer is: You can't!

It is so telling that for the Dave era stuff the clips used are typically short, punchy and kick-ass. While for the other SHIT the clips are most all long-winded, aimlessly meandering and fucked-in-the-ass.

In any one mix, one era should be stuck with. Don't mix the distinct eras and produce watered down SHIT! This tarnishes the CVH legacy.

..., but, personnally, if someone offers something about Van Halen that I think is new and good, I don't think that I would shit on it because there's a singer that I don't like on some songs. I would still like it and respect it because of the music. Most people here are trying to use the Diamond Dave attitude(that I love), but, don't master it like he does. You hate too much. Dave doesn't hate too much. When he says something about Van Halen that is *againts them*, he does it with humour..., and he's like that when he says shit about others too. Humour. Even if that's accurate, you can't infer anything with that number. I had to download 7 times total due to computer problems to get those two files. My 7 downloads do not imply 7 votes of confidence, as I did not know in advance exactly what it was I was downloading, and nor did anyone else. This is Roth Army, so I can confidently say we all appreciate the DLR content. It's all the rest that is out of place! The stem of the problem is that you have been dishonest from the outset by claiming a 75% Dave content but not declaring all the other SHIT "highly represented in those mixes".
