Will the leftists on this board hate President Hillary almost as much as Bush?

I'm not breaking anyones balls. I believe Hillary will be the next president. I believe The Bush's have a plan to turn it over to her in the works.
I think she's as much of a scumbag politician as any body. But will the Libs give her a pass?

In my oppinion, I think more Republicans and Democrats will vote for a third party candidate. I think both major parties have fucked themselves up the ass so bad, many voters are going to jump ship. I was pretty much a Republican and I voted for Ralph Nader in the last election. Not my favorite guy but no way could I vote for either Bush or Kerry. I sometimes vote for Democrat candidates in local elections and some I have been very happy with, but I cannot support the Democratic Partys national agenda. I no longer can support the Republican Party because they have done more damage than the Democrats ever have selling out to big business, jeapordizing national security in the name of enriching a few, and being about big govt. as much as any Democrat though of being. No the Republicans have used their own supports and are lying sacks of shit.

I guess I have no choice but to be an independant voter in the future elections. I hope more Americans join me. WE NEED A THIRD PARTY!

Americans will vote for the same two parties.

Ralph Nader doesn't have a prayer.

            Ralph Nader wouldn't.

But picture a third party Dean/McCain ticket

Not saying that would be my first choice of a pair up. But it would be a combination that would take a significant hit to both existing parties.

About as much of a hit as Ross Perot.

Perot's responsible for the Clinton years more than any one other person.

Perot didn't have a solid base to work from. He had great support initially, for a third party candidate, and was even the frontrunner for a while, before the Democrats sorted out their primaries.

But Perot fucked himself by dropping out of the race and then back in, which took a huge chunk out of his credibility. He claims he only did so under threat from the BCE, which I don't doubt, but all the same it was political suicide.

A Dean & McCain pairing would be very different, as there would be large chunks of both the Democratic AND Republican bases willing to defect from parties that no longer represent them, due to their allegiance to global corporate fascsim.

There's plenty of common ground that liberals can find with true conservatives. Opposition to NAFTA and to imperialism being the two most obvious examples.

I don't think you can win an election without getting some of the white Christian base to vote for you.

I don't know how a Dean-McCain ticket could pull that off.

                    Agreed.

They won't vote for that pro-abortion agenda.

That ticket is dead in the water.

Dude, Perot could have won and won BIG if he hadn't wigged out on us and pulled out of the race and then jump back in.

As sure as i am sitting here today, If he had run full bore till the end, he would have won that damned election, lol.

I still took the chance, but i pretty much knew he sunk his ship thoroughly and completely when he pulled that stunt. but i did have some hope, very little, but some.

I initially gave him odds at being a one termer at best, but at that time i honestly believed his business savy was something this country could have benefitted from substantially. Of course by now it would have been raped and pillaged to profit the rich and screw the poor, but oh well, what else is new?

Foreign Policy would have been interesting, but i didn't give much thought to all of that back then.

If they aren't pushing the anti-abortion fight then in my view they are permitting it.
A silent Pro-Life Republican is just as bad as a loud Anti-Abortion Democrat.

I think people should fight against things they are against, not just have a good Conservative answer for question number four on the Bio or resume'.
Some say they are against abortion but turn a blind eye to the fact that they happen uninterrupted all day long, every day, while the parents are clueless to what is going on with their child.

Then there are the sluts who want the right to a "Choice" they are not mature or responsible enough to respect or appreciate.
Knocked up this week, fresh out of an abortion clinic the next, you know the type.

I believe there are certain circumstances in which an abortion should be considered.
Health, Rape or Incest, and then the choice belongs to the expectant mother if she is 13 or older.
Beyond that, I fail to see any reason where compassion and sympathy can be applied.

Then it just becomes the selfless careless act of two irresponsible people killing a tiny innocent one because making a right "Choice" before hand wasn't even a pre-thought of any kind.

I have a problem with people that think they can pick and choose which of their decisions have consequences, and which one's don't.
I have an even bigger problem with a government that legislate's in agreement with the decisions that lead to the extraction and discarding of new life with no more, or even less consideration than a pulled wisdom tooth.

Of all the choices a couple can make with each other the only one that seems to matter to some women is to abort or not to abort, that's such bullshit to me it isn't even funny.

The only reason I bothered to vote is I hated our local sheriff and didn't want him to win. I knew I was throwing my vote away voting for Nader but hey, I live in Wyoming. Bush was going to get the electorial votes nomatter who I voted for. I actually live in a Democratic country in a very Republican state. My vote really doesn't mean shit. LOL!
