Say what you will boys and little boys, but Smash Mouth is in the same solar system as classic VH. Great guys, good vibe, and they like having fun, and there's nothing wrong with that. Hat's off to Steve, who is going to be on the upcoming season of The Surreal Life. Apparently, someone else couldn't make the gig, so they asked Steve to take his place. Who could that be?

Never had much use for Smashmouth. Heard 3 of their tunes (Allstar, Then The Morning Comes, cover of the Monkees I'm A Believer). Only impression I got was that of a totally average band.

SMASHMOUTH PUTS OUT 2 ALBUMS AND THEN DECIDES THAT A GREATEST HITS ALBUM IS THE WAY TO GO??? I KNOW THAT CLASSIC VH PLAYED SOME RERUNS OF OLDER SONGS IN THEIR DAY, BUT THEY WERENT KNOWN FOR BEING ON THE SHREK SOUNDTRACK OR HAVING THEIR SONGS CONVERTED INTO THE KIDZ BOP CD. THERE MIGHT BE SOME SMALL CONNECTION, BUT ITS LIKE CONNECTING JOHNNY CASH TO COLDPLAY.

CVH covers were cool as hell . Got an awsome live version of 'beer drinkers hell raisers' (ZZtop for the uneducated). Its twice as fast and in your face!!!!! dave wears a beret. Dave can do anything he wants and still look cool
