    Billy Idol

Was watching VH1 Classic's Classic and Current and saw Billy Idol's Cradle of Love and his new video. I saw him back in 90 or so w/ Faith No More. Good show. I was never a huge fan but started listening to him more after I saw him. He's got some good tunes-Hole in the Wall, Eyes Without a Face, etc. I personally liked his version of LA Woman too. Good to see him w/ Steve Stevens again. While I won't be buying his new CD, he still has his signature sound and doesn't seem to have lost a step, not to mention any attitude. I do recommend one of his greatest hits to add to your collection. Rock on Billy.

Yeah...Billy's cool. The first song I ever heard by him was DAncin' with myself (which is about masterbation if you didnt know) when I was a kid. Loved that song and eventually got into Idol's muz. Cradle of love,Eyes without a face, L.A Woman ( remake) , White wedding, Rebel yell...he's got some cool songs there. I'll always remeber the VIDEO for Cradel of love....that young girl on her hands and knees crawlin around after that...guy..who ...looked scared?..of her..and kept avoiding her.....advances? Never understood that...especially at 17 years old!

Billy's stuff is superb when Steve Stevens is onboard.

Rebel Yell is a kick-ass album.

"Devil's Plyground" is definitely the vintage Idol/Stevens sound. Hell there's even a song or two on there that might have worked on a Generation X record.
