Speaking of video who knew that Mick's ex-girlie Ms. Faithful made fetish porn in the late 60's?

Maybe that's why Mick broke up with her. I could see him getting pissed off at seeing some other guy fucking his girlfriend, even if it was for a movie. It's been years since I read Marianne's book, but I don't remember her talking about her porn career. Probably too many dead brain cells under the bridge....

        Fetish porn is a stretch.

This is the most hardcore scene in the movie...

What a bad week for you mortals.....

Seems like a good time to put up one of those New Barbarians tracks from Mac's "Troublemaker" album. Bobby's on this one too......

                And RIP Mr McLagan.

Damn, there have been a bunch of them rock legends lately, dying at around the age of 70...

Apparently the story with this song is that Bobby Keys himself leaked this out to the Stones bootleg trading group IORR earlier this year. Never heard this one before in any form. God only knows what else Bobby might have had.... or whether any of it will see the light of day now.......

Found two of the single and t-shirt set the other day. I was surprised to find the T-shirt isn't paper thin.

Stopped at the record store across from Best Buy today and picked up the Marquee Club set, and while I was there I noticed they had a stack of the super deluxe GRRR! box set marked down to $50! Amazon still has them for $160. I didn't buy any of the GRRR! sets when they came out, but for $50...okay. I'll go through the book once and it'll go back in the box.

Watched Marquee Club earlier this evening, another decent remaster.

And the Stones' vault releases continue......

Drops July 24th, just in time for Mick's birthday......

This of course is a historic performance, serving as both a "memorial" to Brian Jones, who died only two days earlier, and of course the band's first live performance with Mick Taylor. Also their first concert in three years (with the only live performance in between being the 4 songs they played at the Rock n Roll Circus in December 1968, and since it didn't air on BBC, the only people who saw that performance were those present at the gig.)

The Stones were a bit rusty, and this performance shows it, but it's the somewhat humble beginnings of the best version of the band, so probably worth the cleaned up officially mastered version.

Downside is this video is still only 56 minutes, just like the bootleg version. So apparently if the band did play a full concert that day, the original complete film must be LONG gone....

Wish they release some footage from their early 80's tours; the 'Tattoo you, Emotional Rescue' years.

                            Fuck this vintage shit.

Hampton VA was from the Tattoo You tour, as was Let's Spend The Night Together.

Maybe an official release of the Steel Wheels show that aired on Fox? Minus the crappy 3D effects...
