I was skimming their website and saw VIP tickets for NYC for $85 and thought that was a bit more like it.

Then realized that's how much they are charging to walk around an exibition about them.....!!!

On the subject of Stones Vault Material from the Black & Blue tour, these have leaked out recently. Mick completely fucks up the lyrics on Angie a few times, but other than that, some solid performances here

Gotta wonder why they left "Hey Negrita" off the Love You Live album? Was Mick afraid he would have to pay Woody royalties, since he actually wrote it?

Seems to be Eagle Rock's pattern.. they do a one day theater release and then put out the disc the same week. Aren't all the new releases on Fridays now? (which would make December 16 the likely retail day for the disk. Just in time to wait in line for three hours at a mall to buy the fucking thing.)

And my Amazon pre-order of Blue and Lonesome will be here Friday...but I've managed to find it early and listening to it now. It's good! Lots of harp. I like the saturated sound.

Good thing it's windy outside, it's masking the music coming from the house.

Havana Moon was good too. Haven't spun the CD's yet but I'm assuming it's the same mix as the movie.

So here you have a bunch of guys in their mid 70s, making a record that sounds much like the records they made when they were 20. Damn good way to bring it around full circle, should this end up being their final studio album. And considering they are averaging one studio album per decade anymore, it probably will be.
