He had throat cancer several years ago, but last I heard, he was cancer free. The recent health situation was some sort of surgical heart procedure. Don't know the specfics, but if they originally thought he would be able to tour, maybe he had some sort of valve thing like Mick had a couple years ago, and they thought he might have a similar quick recovery. Obviously his doctors didn't think that was the case when they advised him not to tour. Who the fuck knows what happened from there? Complications from the surgery? Some sort of clotting thing? Hope to fuck he didn't pick up Covid while in the hospital, as an 80 year old man who just had surgery probably wouldn't have had the best immune system.Eat Us And Smile
