Interestingly enough, I'm here in the office telling the guys in the mail room about the this ROTH/Carolla dilemma and trying to get these guys to do me the favor of emailing Infinity to demand ROTH for little ol' ME....there's a girl at the fax machine who overhears me, politely interrupts me, saying she previously worked for INFINITY BROADCASTING and she told me WHO to direct my GRIPE to. She said to send the email to the attention of: KEVIN WEATHERLY. He's the West Coast Programmer at INFINITY. She said usually the deals are already contracted out and sealed, BUT she said that if there is enough noise made by emails from the public audience, they will cut someone's contract to a six-month gig, rather than a year's worth. She said that they may have gone with Carolla because he supposedly used to DJ here in the LA Market, so he's got the experience and popularity..........POPULARITY??? The usual target market is the 25-35 yr. old listener audience and the sponsors are big on who can sell to this market.
I will be emailing Mr. Weatherly and telling him that ROTH can bring in the SUNSHINE and NOT the RAIN!

Radio in Detroit is easily the best in the US!
There's a few things I miss still from living near Detroit...The Red Wings...Radio...Concerts...Coneys...and the women!
Football...okay the Eagles are better on their worst day than the Lions on their best day!
Has anyone ever heard of streaming?! Get it right from the source. Otherwise, I'm sure that the army would be a good place to put up the audio on a weekly basis. For myself, I know I do not have much time in the AM to listen. It would be nice to have it on demand here.

Yep, I've been screwed too. I live near Baltimore and get to hear the junkies. They were here once, I beieve and failed, so it makes no sense to bring them back. I've already hooked up w/ sirius, but was looking forward to having the option every morning. I immediately emailed the local station to voice my opinion on the situation. The only thing we can hope for is the the others fail and they in Dave.

The last thing Infinity will want to do is get into another Stern situation where the morning D.J. has so much national popularity. That is why, in my opinion they are haveing a few people replace him. It kind of sucks but that is the way it is.
