I live in Raleigh, NC about 1 hour from Greensboro, NC.
I really don't wan't to see or hear Van Hagar, but Greensboro is the first stop of the tour.
I'm worried that if I don't go, I'm going to miss something like DAVE joining the tour also.
Then again, I'd be pissed if I went to a Shammy show only. I'll have to take the day off work and get a hotel for the night. (heavy drinking)
What would you guys do? What are any of you from NC doing?

Id go, if I were in your shoes. But Id get really fucking drunk and high first. If your wasted you can sit through a Sammy Fagar song list and not remember a thing. But on the other hand. If Dave shows to do say a few numbers near the end, being stoned and drunk is what is recommended by Dave already. So, yeah Id go. Be prepared though for Van Hagar, I dont think Dave is interested in sharing the stage or spotlight. Never did, never will.

If it's music you hate, and I'm assuming it is, what is really the point of going? I know I'd just be cringing the whole time. If I want to get wasted I can do that without all the aggravation, and I can listen to Van HALEN CD's/bootlegs I like. Not to mention I wouldn't go out of principle, not wanting to put money into Ed's, Alex's, Mike's, and Slapnuts' pockets.
