Van Hagar 'Reunion'- Internet Dead Air

A quick thread to point out the complete lack of online media fanfare regarding this supposed 'reunion'.

Just did a google search, 'van halen reunion', and only 3 hits on the first page were related to the current situation, one of which was from the band's site itself. The other two were a single news piece and a blip about the Stern 'aliens' interview. The rest were old rumours updates.

A goddamn 'reunion' and 3 fucking google hits, three days later...

If Dave were involved, you can bet there'd be a bigger buzz than this silent sea of indifference and apathy.

I have not heard a single reference to this in the Australian mainstream media. In fact I havent heard about it at all in Oz. If not for the VH websites I wouldnt know about it..

Nobody cares because a Van Hagar reunion is not news.

You can't reunite a band that has a replacement up front.
