u no what i mean robbo!
I like Randys Flying V
Not all that thrilled with the RR Jackson model.
Thought RR's flying V was way kewl, agreed.
Not too thrilled with the Kramers, Musicman or Peavy EVH models, but would gladly goon Ed over the head with his half drunk bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 and make off with Frankie in a heartbeat, if given half the chance. Probably snag the black and white striped VH2 album sleeve guitar, as well as the black and white custom job seen in the 1981 live Unchained vid, too.
Wouldn't keep 'em in some custom, satin felt lined guitar cases under air conditioning either. I'd be PLAYING those fuckers. Fuck it. If Ed ain't gonna use 'em, I will. He can keep his Steinberger trans-trem slab o' poo and just about anything else he's used since 1985. His sound went to shit around that point anyway.
Scramby eggs and bacon.
Well, first off, the B&W striped one IS Frankenstein..he painted it red in the early 80's. Ed had the Black and Yellow striped one by VHII, that one got buried with Dimebag. LOVE the Unchained guitar, too!Originally posted by Terry

I like the Jackson Rhoads...I was never a fan of the Kramers, or MM's or Peavey, but I must admit now that he's back with Charvel....me likey.
Meant the black and yellow one on the VH2, thanks for the correction.Originally posted by jhale667

The Randy Rhoads model has got to be the best guitar on the planet. It fits me like a glove and is so friggin easy to play. I support the late Randy Rhoads all the way

Did I ever hurt you in any way? If I did, then hear my apology: FUCK YOU!
Dave Grohls guitar ... don't have the pic and wished I did but ... I guess it's the heaviest guitar on the market because of it's body ...
Broken down n' dirty dressed in rags ...
I'd say the Rhoads model......
It's been in production for 20+ years.......
It's a proven winner

...That's my vote for the next Charvel EVH sig model....equally classic design (bear in mind, that's not an 'exact' replica), though not as well known....
Kewl guitar!

I know! Stumbled onto it on Ebay one day, had to save the pics. I think I'm gonna build one.... Here's another angle...
And another thing: When is Charvel going to put out the exact Frankie replica, ala the Fender 'relic' series? And is it gonna be as cool as this one?
I'm betting they DON'T put out an exact rep....not yet....Originally posted by jhale667

The first one would very cool to do yourself......B & W is a bad ass color scheme
I'm torn between the B&Y and B&W...the VHII guitar's the one that inspired me to play in the 1st place...but the B&W is bad ass too!
That is defiantely what they should release next. I've heard something will be unveiled at Namm this year by Fender/Charvel. If they did this it would be very cool, however I suspect it's more likely to be the new version of the WolfgangOriginally posted by jhale667
