I was watching I Kove the 80's 3-d and they talked about this show. He looked like Bill O'Reilly on crack, It was grate, I'd love to see some of this show.

I remember my parents watching this show late at night back in the 80's. My parents were cool enough to let me watch some of it. Loved it! Even back then. That cat took no shit from anybody..color...race..or creed. Wonder if It'll ever be on DVD?

Too bad he passed away a few years back!

Fucking Morton Downey Jr.....that show was unbelievable.
He made the most of his 15 minutes...that's for sure.
I lost a tad of respect for him after his career took a downturn, and he pulled that dumbass stunt in an airport bathroom.

In 1989, Downey was involved in an incident in a San Francisco International Airport restroom in which he claimed to have been attacked by neo-Nazis who painted a swastika on his face and attempted to shave his head. Because police could not find evidence that the event actually took place, many did not believe it, feeling that it was just another controversial stunt. The swastika was painted in reverse of its usual orientation, indicating to skeptics that Downey painted it on himself while looking in a mirror.
It was painted in fucking reverse!!! Sad...but hilarious nonetheless.
