This would make a little sense out of why Sammy ain't singing any Dave songs. Gonna have Dave do them.
It's anybody's guess as to the firestorm of love-hate passion and ego between these players that might feed into or off of something like this. I expect the conflict would make the experience all the better for Van halen fans everywhere.

dave wont tour with hagar. Simple as that. If anything Im going with the belief that dave will reconvene with Halen next year for a final tour with all unreleased and original material. That would prob explain why VH are not doing any dave songs this year.

Some would leave, but it wouldn't be noticeable. I probably saw 7 shows on the Dave and Sam tour, and there wasn't much difference in the crowd sizes for either band.
