ROTH n' ROLL IS ALIVE IN YOUR CAR CD PLAYER & LIVING ROOMS TO "ROCK THE NATION" (had to use Spammy's old song phrase)
That album could make a world record for least numgber of copies sold...

Agreed, Elvis. Wow, I love the idea of a DLR tribute CD but who the fuck are the performers? They'd have a hard time broadcasting a concert of this on any region's public access TV station. Makes me a little sad really. Which subway station or street corner will I be able to find a copy?

Nah, I'm not much on tribute CD's unless Michael Schenker is on geetar.Originally posted by bantonelli

Yngwie on Light Up The Sky sounds interesting!
However, I might skip past NELSON'S pretty woman!
How did you miss that thread ??Originally posted by WARF

I like what Malmsteen and Sheehan do on that song...
Yngwie is an Edward fan and it shows, though it still sounds like Yngwie...
There was a whole thread on this just recently...
The only other song I've heard is So This Is Love with Jeff Scott Soto...
Good stuff!
Goddamn! Look @ Lukather!Originally posted by ELVIS

Ralph Sienz was the singer for the Atomic Punks correct?! Closest I got to seeing the AP's was seeing RALPH with the LA GUNS tour! They did a few VH songs that show and on an LA GUNS album. Here's some pics of that show! !! !!!DT
where can i buy what the dude at the right is using? is it a powder?
That dude at the right is Tracii Guns! You gotta know him! Hell he playes ed vh better that ed himself! uh oh DT preps self for flames! As for what he's on .... what happens at JJ Whispers ... stays at JJ Whispers! !! !!!DTOriginally posted by MERRYKISSMASS2U

What a dumb fucking idea. Why on earth should a tribute band do a tribute album to the band they're paying tribute to??!?! They're already trying to play it identically note for note. Why the hell not just listen to the real thing?Originally posted by Lloyd Anger

Saenz IS the singer for the Punks.Originally posted by Douglas T.

"If anyone came here hoping to hear Sammy Hagar Van Halen, there's the fucking door, man!" Ralph Saenz, Atomic Punks
"Carpe Mammarium"
I'd like to see them for giggles! Wish they travel to FLA! We get every other tribute band here! They have this "CLASSICS LIVE" show here at HARD ROCK. This awesome band replayes entire classic rock albums note for note. They even are said to use the same instruments used for the recordings(not the exact same of coarse). It seems they have covered nearly every band other than VH !! !!!DTOriginally posted by EbDawson

What a lame ass tribute CD!!!
I dont know wether to laugh or cry.
With all respect, who are those Clowns?
Is this really all that is left of the great David Lee Roth Legacy? A tribute CD by a bunch of fucking nobodies????!!!
To add insult to injury some of those songs seem to be leftovers from some crappy Van Halen tribute CD.
I hope the once mighty Diamond Dave will have a more graceful retiriment on the radio.
This is just pathetic!
Has anyone listened to it yet? Is it crapola or worth spending $10 ??
"Meet us in the Future.....NOT the Pasture".......DLR, August '07, VH Press Conference - Tour '07-'08
Obviously nobody has... It seems you're gonna have to spend those ten bucks, if you really want to know.Originally posted by bantonelli

I would never buy myself ANY tribute album, and a Diamond or CVH one would be the very last I would get.

Don't waste your money sweetheart. Alot of it is quite gay. If it wasn't for Malmsteen and Lynch playin' their asses off, the fuckin' thing would be a beer coaster by now.Originally posted by bantonelli

I was in Borders the other day, they didn't even have it. Guess it's not a wide release.Originally posted by bantonelli
