New Darkness CD

Wow, I thought it would be pretty good after buying their first one, which rocked. I give it 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. It's too poppy, their first one rocked harder...some of the songs sound too much like ELO or Queen.

Anyway, ive been waiting for the album for along time, i used to be a big fan but i was disapointed by it, but now its growing on me.

And the new bass player has a shaved head!, i mean cmon, theyre supposed to all have long hair, thats the rock and roll way!

Big elements of The Sweet involved too...but yeah, Roy Thomas Baker has managed to make it sound a lot like Queen too...High n' Dry...I don't know much about Def Leppard..

My favorite song on the Cd is "Is it just me?" It has freakin sweet background vocals..just a great overall song.

The Darkness are a breath of fresh air from all this coldplay crap (whom they mock in their One Way Ticket video). Knockers is amazing and Girlfriend's synth solo is something even the most heavy metal head plays when no one is around...

Yes, Coldplay sucks. My ex-Girlfriend really like Coldplay, I told her to listen to some real British Music like The Beatles or Led Zep!
