There is a forum member here that is on-air staff at KQ and plays more DLR era VH than any other station in town, so I'd continue to support the station.
The KQ affiliate in Duluth is pure shit I gaurantee. Heavy on Van Gaybar and the DJ's clearly crave the cock. The Minneapolis version can't be much different.
92 plays more Roth VH than Spammy. 93x the hard rock station in Minneapolis, never play Spammy...Roth only!!

It's mainly geared toward CVH when it comes to whcih era gets more air play. I've hardly heard Spammy Gaygar tunes here, they did play I can't drive 55, Three Lock Box, and Right Now and Poundcake (Which are about the only Two Van Hagar Songs I can stomach.). I just flip the channel. But whne they play CVH they PLAY CVH! I've heard songs that Only I thought I listened to come up on The Rock Stations. Like Take Your Whiskey Home and Romeo Delight, Also UYnchained gets frequent play on the radio and Panama gets played quite often on the retro 80's station.

Yes, But classic VH has "Always" been more hip than Van Hagar. It's just strange in a city like Minneapolis, where Roth is fairly popular that they would do that. Christ, Roth has played here 6 times in the last 10 years! I hear you Lounge, it's a bunch of corporate guys trying to make a buck...but I think classic VH is more appealing!
