During the last WC there were bars in Scotland that gave out a free beer every time anyone scored against England.

The rivalry between Boca Juniors and River Plate is insane.

I have a friend and pupil, a River Plate fan, who owns an advertising agency on public streets, when Boca and River played against (and River won). In the next morning the whole city awoke with a heavy joke against Boca Juniors….he paid it from his own pocket...
One day he met another student , a Boca Juniors fan, dressed with shirt, socks and shorts of Boca,a very expensive clothing down here….and I had to separate them so they did not fight.

You would expect that a World Cup held in Brazil would be won by either Brazil or Argentina. Both have started poorly, the weather is against the four European teams(France,Belgium, Germany and Holland).

I'm starting to think perhaps a real outsider could win this if they get a bit of luck.
