The best part about this tournament (besides women in stands showing their tits) is the fact that my local club in Atlanta has been beating the shite out of two top-tier MLS clubs since their best players are in Brazil at the moment. Now it's off to the Quarter-finals of the "Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup" which is the equivalent to the FA Cup.Comment

Oh, you just had to bring up those two world wars again didn't you Sesh! Well the first one we didn't show up when everything kicked off in 1914 because the old men in charge were didn't want to relive the horror from the civil war that happened fifty years earlier, and the christian fundies back them were total pacifists. The Equatorian goal keeper was either fucking lucky or fuckingly good vs France yesterday, or both.
The Blue (who played in white BTW - and they don't play in blue often) were particularly awkward. Kind of the B team... But the Equator were brave as they were only 10 for more than half of the game - the player who got a red card didn't really deserve it, but it seems he did because the ref was influenced by his record...
