    Great final indeed. Shame it had to be decided on penalties. I saw it swing Italy's way when Zidane was sent off. Absolute madness! Wonder what was said to the man? And when they substituted Henry off the field.

    And Italy behaved like a bunch of poofters in post-match celebrations...

    Oh well, glad it's over now.

                            This was kind of my argument with Va the other week.

                            You don't need to sticky it, it will do what it will do.

                            This thread is the biggest one in the forum for a while so it didn't matter if it was stickied or not.

                            My refernece to the European Championship is because Scotland have got the shittiest draw in the history of the competition. We are in a group with France, Italy and Ukraine where one team qualifies and the second place one goes to a playoff.

                            Ludicrous.

                                    The overiding chat about the world cup in the English TV, radio and newspapers is about how well the Germans did organising this world cup and how great they were as hosts.

                                    If nothing else comes out of this tournament at least some of the stupid racist English have grown up a bit and now appreciate your country.

                                    I think Germany will get more tourism from this.
