But Germany fucked up again.
And what is happening with Holland?
No wonder our resident Dutch and German from this thread have gone missing...
Well your toon have beaten my Spurs today vandeleur. I hope your happy. YOU ARE FUCKIN' HAPPY, RIGHT?!?!
I'm just kidding. Not really that angry about the loss. Kind of hard to get angry about a team that isn't from where I was originally born, or if they are not the local team.
WOW!!!!!

Great winning goal from Scotland on Friday, seriously considering putting a big bet on us to beat England tomorrow night in the 'friendly'.

I changed it to the official video which includes it from every single angle which even I thought was a bit much to expect people to sit through.
Great goal in a very good game .Pity it's being played up there . The last thing the game needs is a shit atmosphere with the home fans eating their prawn salad sandwiches politely applauding
I watched the game where as a lot of my scot mates didnt .it's like the pistols gigs , everyone claims they watched the game now .
Not sure what you mean by this???
The tickets are way to expensive at £60 just stupid greedy shit for a friendly. No concessions either, just ridiculous.
That said I think they've sold 50 000 or so but the English didn't manage to sell even half of their allocation which was 6000 or so I think without looking it up.
Surprised your Scottish pals didn't watch the game on Friday the pubs were packed here and it seemed to be very very high profile. You'll notice I disappeared for a couple of days on here which is always a sign...
I was being a little flippant , I don't care its a friendly I think the atmosphere will be a bit intimidating to say the least .
Yeah I was surprised none them said they were going out to watch it .
I think international football is on its last legs , FIFA have made it the equivalent of watching something a bit unsavoury and dirty . And that takes something considering how grubby football politics are to start with .
Well what a dick I look, we never turned up for some reason...
We played much better than I expected and the young players didn't freeze up . Good game
There's a man outside Celtic Park burning small effigies of Wayne Rooney and selling them to fans.
Oh hang on... it's a baked potato stand.

Messi sets La Liga scoring record of 253 goals
http://ca.reuters.com/article/sports...0J60PQ20141122
BARCELONA (Reuters) - Barcelona forward Lionel Messi set a La Liga scoring record of 253 goals when he netted a hat-trick in Saturday's 5-1 win at home to Sevilla.
The previous record has been held by former Athletic Bilbao striker Telmo Zarra since 1955, which marked the end of the Spaniard's 15-year career with the Basque club.
Zarra scored his 251 goals in 277 appearances, while Argentina captain Messi needed 289 games.
Forward Messi, 27, equaled the record in the 21st minute with a typically breathtaking strike, curling a left-footed shot around the wall and past Sevilla goalkeeper Beto into the net.
He struck again from close range in the 72nd minute and scored a third six minutes later with a powerful low drive from the edge of the penalty area.
His Barca team mates picked him up and threw him into the air several times while his adoring fans at the Nou Camp wildly cheered their talisman, who joined the club's academy at the age of 13.
The four-times World Player of the Year has scored 206 goals with his favored left foot, 38 with his right, eight with his head and one, which should have been ruled out, with his hand.
He matched former Real Madrid and Schalke 04 forward Raul's Champions League scoring record of 71 goals last month.

yeaterday's game. Feyenoord - Sevilla 2-0 what a great night
Wham-o improves the shitty soccer ball!

Barca beats PSG 3-1, with goals from Messi, Neymar and Suarez.
Paris Saint Germain can go to hell. They let themselves be bought by some filthy rich Qatari bungling idiot, and anyway they've been supported by moronic racists for decades. Without all that stinking money that allows them to hire valuable players they'd be nowhere. Those big money clubs with no training centers (no real life on their own, no soul) just make me puke...
Club football is rotting IMO, many players only care for their "little" club and don't give a flying fuck about their national team, like those shitheads Nasri, Ribery or Anelka... But what are 5 or six national championships compared to 40 or 50 national selections with one or two international titles?
Those PSG jerks can all GTF as far as I'm concerned, and their colleagues from the Barça as well, though I'm fucking glad they won.
BITEYOASS (12-14-2014)
BTW, Platini may probably be a fat, corrupted big shot, but he was right to insist on the fact the golden ball should be a German player, though there were a bunch of cunts who opposed that for whatever stupid "reasons". Those Messi, Ronaldo or whoever the fuck they might be, professional footballers who give 100% for a fucking local but high-paying shirt and compratively idle on the ground under their national shirt don't measure up with World champions.
mmmm messi broke a shit load of records this year. he aint rubbish his records for goals compares to any one in history . he should be in with a shout surely ?
Of course I don't mean it's nothing, but no matter how many records he broke this year, it was a World Cup year, so as far as stating who is the best player in the world that player can but be part of the team who was World Champion. And Messi wasn't part of it. That's all.
I understand your point and to some degree agree. My point is to win a world cup takes 7 matches , messi has been consistant longer than that.
I think you are maybe ?? more pationate about your national team than I am , I couldnt give a shit if england win its a night out but take newcastle defeats poorly . Though by now i should be thicker skinned
I see what you mean. But in a World Cup year, performances delivered during the World Cup should overshadow the rest.
At best, what you can win with your club is a European title, which is fucking great, but it's still a club competition in which you aren't supposed to meet all the best players on earth. You will sure play against a lot of them, but clubs aren't as prestigious as national teams. That said, clubs tend to be presented as more and more important sportswise. I'm not seeing things that way though.
I don't especially care for the national team of my country, I won't necessarily support them -- unless it's versus Germany (history...), Italy (yuck!) or England (but it doesn't happen often). I just like attractive ways of playing, panache. The French team in the 1980s for example offered flamboyant matches full of fine movements and fair play. Those who won in 1998 and the Euro in 2000 were great, but I'd rather remember the 80s team.I think you are maybe ?? more pationate about your national team than I am , I couldnt give a shit if england win its a night out but take newcastle defeats poorly . Though by now i should be thicker skinned
Anyway, I was mostly interested in teams like Chili or Mexico who played very, attractively well, and I wish one of both teams had won the Cup, whereas France didn't deserve it IMO.
As for Newcastle, I worked with an English assistant who had a one-year contract in my high school two years ago. He was just like you as far as football, the English team and Newcastle.

Here's the favorite football club of that conspiratorial fucktard named ELVIS:
I think some of that shit is born from people at the bottom having to feel superior to someone. You aren't at the bottom of the ladder if you can look down on someone else because of their race.
Anyhoo let's not derail this thread.
Whoa! Looks like my Spurs just gave vandeleur's club a swift kick in the bollocks during the League Cup Quarterfinals.
we were terrible , you should be shot for not getting double figures . we were woeful .
Thanks for reminding me
I can't help it if the Spurs have no fookin' strikers.
I take that back! The Spurs a couple weeks ago beat the ever loving shite out of Chelsea 5-3.
