One of my best pals whom I saw yesterday night, who has been an advised observer of Fussball since the 1970 World Cup and who sees "the same matches" as I do when we gather at our fave pub to watch some - other customers often have a distorted vision, up to thinking the Portuguese team desserved to beat England in the last Euro 1/4 finals - made a forecast für die Welt Kup...
It's only a forecast, but well, just for fun, here it is:

For the semis: Argentina, Brasil, the Netherlands und... France.

Someone said: "You forgot Germany. Germany at home, not in the last four?". He replied: "Well, they might well make it to the semis, but considering what they've been showing lately, if they get through (I added "you never know with those lucky Teutonic devils: how many times did they reach finals like from some magic wand" ), they won't go any further".
Well... for what it's worth. Forecasting...
