You don`t know what it`s like to live under the oppression of having your TV companies based in a "foreign" country.

For six months we`ve had constant propaganda about how great England are and how they were bringing home the World Cup with their "golden age" of players (what?).

Watching them trot out every excuse and scapegoat almost makes it all worthwhile.

I`m with you, Don, it`s high time Italy won another World Cup.

Exactly. The press today is full of "It's Sven's fault, it's Rooney's fault, it's Ronaldo's fault". Lets have a bit of honesty, they aren't good enough. England are and have been for years a 2nd string team, the Van Hagar of the footballing world. The sooner the FA and the players face up to the fact that they are no way near as good as their PR would have them believe the better.
